Horsepen Hill Farm is a premier dressage facility located in Prince George’s County within 30 minutes of Baltimore, Annapolis, and Washington, D.C. The farm is 16+ acres and is surrounded by an additional 60 acres of horse farms and hay fields. The farm was once a Thoroughbred breeding farm standing the stallion Star DeNaskra. When Aviva and her husband, Adrian Rad purchased the farm in 1999, they set about creating the ultimate in riding facilities. The modern and airy stable with a hot/cold water wash stall and bathroom has an attached lighted indoor riding arena with state of the art, dust free footing that encourages horses to dance. The large windows invite the outside in and the mirrored walls provide immediate feedback for riders plus add to the feeling of roominess. The large lighted outdoor arena is footed with sand, fiber, and rubber and is the obvious choice for those “perfect” days. Owner Aviva Nebesky is a graduate with distinction of the USDF “L” Program and actively trains and competes in dressage while maintaining a busy teaching and judging schedule. Aviva has her USDF Bronze Medal and the Fourth Level scores towards her Silver. She has competed internationally representing the USA at the Maccabi Games in Israel in 2022. Prior to Covid she worked with the PG Mounted Police and she regularly works with eventers and working equitation riders. For the last few years Aviva has co-hosted the Dressage Today podcast with Stephanie Ruff interviewing local and international trainers and competitors and answering a monthly question on the “Ask The L” segment. She also judges for several virtual show platforms. Horsepen Hill Farm does not offer boarding or boarding/training options nor are there lessons available on school horses.
